Sports Mental Training

What’s Holding You Back?

Do you step up to the start line or into the arena
with your nerves janglingnervous boy and butterflies in your stomach?

Are mental blocks keeping you from  performing up to your potential?

Do you choke under pressure?

So what’s holding you back?  Most of the time the answer is fear.  Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of disappointment or fear of any number of difficult emotions.  Imagine how far you could go if only you knew how to manage those fears?  What could you accomplish in both sports and life if you knew how to deal with those difficult emotions?

Mastering Your Sports Mental Training

Imagine waking up on competition morning feeling excitement and anticipation rather than fear and dread. As your event approaches you realize how much you love your sport and you can’t wait for your event to start. You step up to the start line or into the arena and you feel the excitement and adrenaline start to flow but you also feel centered and focused, powerful and confident. You’ve trained hard and now is your opportunity to let your skills and strengths shine. The pressure makes you feel stronger and more determined. Your mental toughness allows you to meet any challenges head on with strength and confidence. You’re in control of your game.

Mental training is as important as physical training but typically it’s neglected.  My sports mental training program teaches you how to overcome your fears and the difficult emotions behind them on both the conscious and subconscious levels.  You’ll learn how to clear those mental blocks that are holding you back.  You’ll learn self-hypnosis techniques for enhancing visualization, motivation and focus.  You’ll come away with tools and techniques for dealing with the fears and difficult emotions.  You’ll learn how to be resilient in the face of failure.  And the best part is that these tools and techniques can be used both on the field and in other areas of your life.

Take your performance to the next level.  Private in-office sessions are available as well as online Skype or phone sessions. Call 720-982-8586 to schedule an appointment.
